Can a dent be fixed without repainting?
Often, yes. If the paint is not cracked and the metal is not stretched, the dent can usually be worked back to the panel’s original lines with your factory finish intact. When it cannot — a crease on a body line, cracked paint — we say so and price the refinish honestly.
Is it worth going through insurance for a small dent?
Sometimes the repair costs less than your deductible, and paying out of pocket is the simpler move. We put a written number on the job first, so you can make that call with real figures before any claim is opened.
Will I be able to see where the dent was?
No — that is the standard the work is checked against. When refinishing is needed, the clearcoat is blended into the panels around the repair, and we inspect the panel under different light angles before you ever see the car.
