Keele St leaves Maple, passes the GO station, runs down through Concord’s warehouse blocks, crosses Steeles, and reaches our shop just south of Sheppard without a single highway ramp. From Woodbridge, Highway 7 east to Keele does the same job; from the VMC towers, Jane St south to Sheppard is a ten-minute run outside rush hour. Drivers coming from the Thornhill side of the city usually take Dufferin or Bathurst down and cut across on Sheppard. And when the 400 is behaving, Vaughan Mills to our lot is four exits and about twelve minutes.
That routing matters because so much of Vaughan points this direction every morning anyway. The 400-to-401 commute, the park-and-ride crowd heading for Line 1, contractors running between Concord and the jobsites south of Steeles — our corner of North York sits on the way, not out of the way. A damaged-but-drivable car can come in on the same trip you were already making, and the estimate happens while you carry on with your day.
