Call us first. In Ontario, you decide where your vehicle is towed — not the tow operator. We coordinate the truck, receive the car, and handle intake photos when it arrives, even if you cannot be there.
We sit with you and open the claim on the spot, document everything, and meet the adjuster at our shop. Ontario policies expect prompt notice — within about seven days — so starting early keeps your claim clean.
If anyone was hurt, or the combined damage looks like it could pass $5,000, the collision has to be reported — usually at a Collision Reporting Centre. We walk you through what applies to your situation before anything else happens.

Get everyone safe and out of traffic. Exchange licence, plate, and insurance details, and photograph both vehicles and the scene. If anyone is injured or damage looks over $5,000 combined, report it — police at the scene or a Collision Reporting Centre. Then call us at (647) 594-3401 and we take it from there.
It depends on fault. Under Ontario’s Fault Determination Rules you can be 0, 25, 50, 75, or 100 per cent at fault, and a not-at-fault DCPD claim is treated very differently from an at-fault one. We are happy to talk through your situation before you decide anything.
