Auto Painting in Mississauga

Collision Auto Center paints and refinishes vehicles for Mississauga from North York, about 20–32 minutes east on the 403 and 401. Colour is matched to your paint code, adjusted to how your panels have actually aged, and blended into the neighbouring metal so the repair has no visible edge — and every refinish carries a lifetime warranty for as long as the car is yours.

Paint has a hard life in this city

Mississauga is rough on finishes in ways its drivers stop noticing. Commute behind transport trucks on the 401 or the 410 for a few winters and the leading edge of the hood turns into a field of stone chips; add the salt spray those same highways throw from November to March and each chip becomes a small rust project by spring. In the newer neighbourhoods — Churchill Meadows, East Credit, Lisgar — driveways are wide and shadeless, so clearcoat on hoods, roofs, and decklids bakes through summer after summer until it hazes and peels.

Then there is the damage people do to each other. Keyed doors in the Square One garages, scratched quarters from carts at Heartland, a scrape picked up squeezing past a construction barrel during the Hurontario LRT years. Individually small, collectively the reason a five-year-old car can look ten. All of it is fixable, and most of it costs less to fix properly than people assume.

  • Stone-chipped hoods and mirrors from the 401 and 410 truck lanes
  • Clearcoat haze and peel on sun-baked horizontal panels
  • Key scratches and cart scars from garage and big-box parking
  • Salt-fed rust starting at chips, edges, and rocker seams

Matching colour on a panel that has lived here

A paint code tells us what your colour was on the day the car left the factory; it says nothing about six Ontario summers since. So the match starts at the code, then moves to the car — we pull the variant decks, spray out test cards, and check them against your actual panel under corrected light before anything touches the vehicle. Metallics and pearls get the same treatment, because they are the finishes where a near-miss shows worst in low winter sun.

The refinish itself happens in the booth: panel prepped, sealed, based, and cleared, then the colour blended out past the repair into the adjacent panels so there is no hard line for your eye to find. That blend is the difference between paint work you forget and paint work you notice every time you load the trunk. It is also the part we guarantee — the lifetime warranty on paint and refinish holds for as long as you own the vehicle.

A chip, a panel, or a whole claim

Not every paint job should be sold the same size, so we scope honestly. A chipped leading edge might need one panel refinished, not a hood and both fenders. A keyed door usually needs the door and a blend into its neighbours, not a side of the car. Deliberate damage like keying generally falls under the comprehensive part of your policy — we can price the repair both ways so you can weigh the number against your deductible before opening anything with your insurance company.

Logistics stay light from Mississauga. Photos to (647) 594-3401 get you a written estimate without a drive; when the work is booked, the car comes in once, gets its booth time on schedule instead of waiting in a queue, and comes home on your next run east. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM, with Sundays by appointment for anyone whose week belongs to the QEW.

Common questions

Straight answers before you commit to anything — and a human on the phone when you want one.

The front of my hood is peppered with chips from the 401. Touch-up or repaint?

Depends on density. A handful of chips can be touched up acceptably; a leading edge with dozens will look speckled forever, and refinishing the panel is the honest fix. Send close-up photos and we will tell you which side of that line your hood is on, with a written price for each.

Can you match a three-year-old pearl white after repairing one fender?

Yes — pearls are matched from the variant decks, sprayed onto test cards, and compared against your car’s actual panels before painting, then blended into the hood and door so the transition is invisible. A pearl painted to code alone and stopped at the panel edge is how mismatches happen; the blend is why ours do not.

Someone keyed my car in a parking garage downtown Mississauga. Should I claim it?

Keying falls under comprehensive coverage with your normal deductible. Whether to claim is arithmetic: if the repair lands near your deductible, paying out of pocket may be smarter. We give you the written number first so you can decide with real figures, and we handle the claim if you choose to open one.
